Spring Pink nest scene

Size 6 x 4 " approx .
I have a thing for frames at the moment ;o)
This " frame " was a wood light switch surround
i found at my local DIY store in the bargain bin !
So i backed card with ledger paper , painted it
with white then rubbed green ink on .

Added a real twig , small bird -

then i came up with the flower heads ..

By using these vintage birthday candle holders !
Which i cut the spike off and glued in place .

Filled a tiny nest with a handmade fimo egg
feathers , a vintage millenery flower

I may use more of these " flowers " in other
work - something really simple -
but quite effective !

Have a fun weekend !!
We change our clocks on sunday - and
i`m looking forward to lighter evenings coming !

We put our clocks forward 2 weekends ago and it's so lovely to have longer days again.

Have a wonderful weekend dear friend. xoxo

Always coming up with fresh ideas...and how well they work in this "frame" -- even the frame is a stroke of genius!
