Amy Got My Swap Package !! .....

So here`s the bird collage and supplies swap i sent to Amy . I got an email earlier tonight my time , to say she`d received it already ! And i only posted it on Monday ! That was QUICK !

I called the collage .... " Shy Little Birds " .......










Here`s it all packaged up .......

Along with aload of other goodies for her ...... buttons , lace , oriental papers , atc supplies amongst others , and the necklace i made .......

Here`s how i made it .......
An A4 piece of acid free mount board , with vintage style napkin glued onto some corners , pasted over with gloss medium .....

Vintage ledger paper , wallpaper pieces next ........

Some binding ribbon to accent some of the corners .....

Bird image , with a feather and vintage button on top ........

A piece of a plastic doily on too ......

Nearly finished collage .......

More bird images and some text from an old childrens book to finish it off .....

I then added some ribbon on the top , so Amy can hang it up ... Which she says she has done already !

I hope it gives you some inspiration Amy , although you wanted more hours in the day to do things !! Don`t we all ;o)

And we also swapped Artist Trading cards as well .... Which i made this one back in March this year , when i first started getting crafty again !

Also good news on the beaded bird i bought ...... It`s Here with me ! At last , from the USA !
