A 2.5" Lace nest .
I sewed vintage trims onto a
scrap piece of fabric ...
Inside i sewed a long piece of
crochet trim and one bead and 2
button "eggs " and a yellow contrast
trim .
I am still undecided how to use this .
Use it in another piece of artwork -
make a brooch or a necklace ...
What do you think ???

Soooooo pretty!!!! I love nests as you know :) I say use it in another piece of art.
A thought just came to mind, I think it would look lovely on top of a pretty altered box. Did you see the box I made for the Easter Swap? I added a nest to the top of it.

Very creative use of lace and buttons Carolyn...I think it would lovely mixed with another piece of art but it would also make a lovely brooch.
I make a brooch for a while and wear it now. And then I would alter a box. It is very cool.
