More Finds ...... .

I`ve been saving my finds , and decided to put a few on .. as there are loads more to do ! I didn`t realise there were that many ... Anyway here goes ........

Ceramics .... A tea cup ... sadly with no saucer -- hence the 50p price tag ......

Two small cups , but these ones have no handles on them ... so not sure of the proper name for them ! ....

A small Holly Hobby watering can .........

Fabric covered buttons ... bought today .......

Assorted ribbons ......

An old chiffon scarf ........ in lovely summery colours .....

A square table mat ........

A pair of vibrant coloured hankies ...... these are my favourites ..... for 10p each !

An old fabric cosmetic bag ... lined with plastic .......

The material is pretty thin , but shiny , and a gorgeous pink flower design . I can remember my grandma having something like this ....

And finally for todays post ... a 1976 book on Macrame .... I did have a go at this many , many years ago ... and gave up on it ... So i thought i`d give it another go .......

Also to come ..... a glass dish with a handle , a set of glass bird egg cups , some Laura Ashley buys .. for my craft room ....... and does anyone remember .... Betsy Clarke ??? From Hallmark cards , back in the 1970`s ?
I have a book .. and a set of coasters of hers . . Very cute drawings of a girl in a prairie style dress ......
As you can see , i collect .. anything and everything ! ... Maybe you should ask me ... what DON`T i collect !!

Hi Carolyn, today my computer seems to be letting me finally see some pics faster,so I was able to see all your loveley finds.Hmm,which do I like the best, the tea cup is fabulous, the ones without the handles,I'm thinking japanese people used those, otherwise I don't know what they would have been used for.I absolutely LOVE the hankies & cosmetic purse. You could probably make the hankies into small tote bags or little bags with string at the top to pull close so that you can store pretty things in them, but still see your hankie. The square mat is cute, too.Oh and of course, the girls love the holly hobbie watering can,so do I. :)Ok,you really need your craft room soon so I can see pics of it. :)
