12 " squared canvas
" The Invisible Embrace "
The biggest canvas i have worked on -
so far ...
Created using texture paste - which took
a half a large tub of the stuff !!
Acrylic paint , pearl glaze acrylic and modge
podge sealed .

Hard to take a photo of it - the glare from the gold
and pearl paint i applied shows up more than it
does in the flesh ! A time when you need less light !!
Never mind ...

It is more of a dark painting - to set the tone of the
picture on one side , the other having more light
brighter colours ...

But still showing more of the streaks of gold / yellow
sunshine " light" hitting the angel`s
body / wing . The 2 figures are raised by an extra layer
of textured paste - to make them stand out more .
I wanted to capture a faceless person
who was in need and felt alone , and an angel has appeared
by their side - whether they knew about it-
or not , embracing them with love and giving them hope.
We all have a guardian angel - right ?
