" Scrappy owl "
6 x 5 "
I decided to make myself another owl.
As i had sold my pocket owl .This is a
larger version - made from a linen napkin
i got in a sale .

felt eyes and vintage buttons

These were scrap pieces from another
sewing project - instead of putting them or throwing
them away - i made a feather skirt for her ;o)
and sewed 2 rows of assorted scrap pieces .
They are from the vintage patchwork quilt
i purchased months ago .

Then i put some tufts of hair on top - using
knitting wool and tied a seam binding bow .

I like the name Autumn for your owl, and such a great way to use up scraps of fabric, on the tag too :)
What a bright and happy owl...wearing her coat of many colours!!! Love the tufts of hair on top!!! :)
